Beginners and current gym users welcome! Maybe you've tried a few 'big gyms' in the past but never quite found the right fit for you? Well I can't wait to help you achieve your optimal health and fitness like so many of my other members have before you at the EFM Gym.
EFM Gym St Kilda was established in 2009 and has since grown to the successful club it is today. The Fitness Coaches at EFM St Kilda East are focused on keeping you motivated on achieving your goals, and ultimately getting you the results YOU'RE after, so if you want to train with some of the best in Australia and see guaranteed results then be sure to call us on the above details or register for one of our special offers to get you started. What makes EFM so good? BIG gyms are a dime-a-dozen in Australia these days. Get the tour, join up, get written a ‘personal program’, follow it 3 x times per week and voila! An instant new you! Unfortunately if life were that simple, more Australians would be fitter, healthier and feeling better about themselves. We do things a differently at EFM. Heard of Cross-Training, Strength and Conditioning, Functional Exercise Training? These different methods of training are a great way to condition different muscle groups, develop a new set of skills, and reduce boredom that creeps in after months of the same exercise routines. Also they allow you the ability to vary the stress placed on specific muscles or even your cardiovascular system. After months of the same movements your body becomes extremely efficient performing those movements, and while that is great for competition, it limits the amount of overall fitness you possess and reduces the actual conditioning you get while training; rather than continuing to improve, you simply maintain a certain level of fitness. This is especially bad news if you’re trying to lose weight! Also these different methods of training are necessary to reduce the risk of injury from repetitive strain or overuse. The term cross training refers to a training routine that involves several different forms of exercise. While it is necessary for an athlete to train specifically for their sport if they want to excel, for most exercisers cross training is a beneficial training method for maintaining a high level of overall fitness. Most importantly, challenging your body with new exercises on a regular basis ensures that you continue to get results! At the EFM Gym in St Kilda, you have a trainer making sure you get the very best out of each workout that you do - not just your first introductory session. We look forward to introducing you to our proven formula for success in fitness, weight loss and general health and wellbeing. Take a look around our site to find out more and don’t forget to register for some of our special offers on the right of your screen. There’s some great value there.
We really look forward to helping you achieve a fitter, trimmer, happier and healthier life with our unique Personal Fitness Programs. Sincerely
The EFM Fitness Coaching Team
