General membership terms and conditions 

EFM Health Clubs offers month by month memberships (no 12 month lock in terms) or annual memberships.

If you select the month by month membership option, your Membership Agreement will be a periodic agreement that operates from month to month commencing on the date of your Membership Agreement.

If you select the annual membership option, your Membership Agreement will be a fixed agreement that operates for 1 year commencing on the date of your Membership Agreement.

You may cool off your Membership Agreement and terminate it without penalty by letting us know in writing within 7 days after signing your Membership Agreement. If you cool off this Membership Agreement, you will not be charged.

You may suspend your Membership Agreement while you suffer a temporary sickness or physical incapacity by letting us know in advance in writing. During this suspension, we may choose to either refund you the fees during that suspension or extend the term of your membership by the period of the suspension.

You may terminate your Membership Agreement if you suffer a permanent sickness or physical incapacity by letting us know in advance in writing.

We may terminate your Membership Agreement if you fail to pay your fees or if you breach your obligations.

Month by month memberships may be terminated by giving us at least 2 weeks’ notice in advance in writing before the next billing date. Your Membership Agreement will terminate before the commencement of that next monthly period.

Participating in a health and fitness program is an inherently risky activity – there is a risk that you may be injured, exacerbate an existing ailment or condition or, accelerate the onset of an illness. You acknowledge that you are aware of this risk.

Any Health and Fitness Program recommended to you by us does not take into account your medical and physical fitness. You should seek advice from a medical professional to ensure that that program is suitable for you.

To the extent permitted by law: (1) our liability to you for a breach of a guarantee under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) is limited to supplying the services to you again and, (2) otherwise, our liability to you is limited to circumstances where we are grossly or intentionally negligent.

Membership rates are $44.19 per week for all clubs, with the exception of Magill (SA) at $45.35 per week and Reynella (SA) at $50 a week (based on 4.3 weeks per month). $99 joining fee applies.

These membership conditions only relate to public memberships and if your membership is sponsored by an employer then you should refer to your franchisee for a copy of the terms and conditions as memberships will vary club to club.

1. Children under 12 years – Not allowed to join/participate at EFM and if in the club must be supervised by a guardian.
2. 24 hour access at EFM Health Clubs Sunshine (VIC), EFM Health Clubs Osborne (SA) and EFM Health Clubs Kawana (QLD) is limited to Sunshine Hospital, ASC and SCUH staff only.
3. 24 hour access at EFM Health Clubs Bowden (SA), EFM Health Clubs Glenelg (SA), EFM Health Clubs North Tce RAH (SA), EFM Health Clubs Reynella and EFM Health Clubs North Melbourne (VIC) and EFM Health Clubs Westmead (NSW) is available to everyone.
4. Extended hours at EFM Health Clubs Magill (SA) and EFM Health Clubs Toowoomba (QLD) is available to everyone.
